OCZ Vertex2 Extended 120GB (OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G) Benchmarked

I used HD Tune Pro 4.5 and Passmark PerformanceTest 7.0 against OCZ Vertex2 SSD, working in IDE mode. Sorry, did not have enough time to test in AHCI.

You can compare this to Intel X25-M 80GB through this link. Yes, that one had different hardware and testing methods and their order, but the point remains: you would probably not notice a big performance gain when upgrading to anything Sandforce-based, if you presently have an Intel SSD. If you are still considering for an upgrade, I would wait for those 30nm flash chips, which are supposed to bring much better prices to the SSD market.
